Movie theatres

What is a movie? Basically, a movie is simply a moving picture that usually shows in a big theatre for an extended duration of time. In a movie theater, it’s known as a motion picture, and in cinema, it’s known as a movie. In the United States, movies are also known as films. But in Japan, they just call them movies, so we will just call it motion pictures for the moment.

How did motion pictures come to exist? Well, back in the late 19th century, an Italian film director started to use projecting pictures on a very large screen. The first movies were black and white, but later on, things changed. In this time, people didn’t have the technology to view the pictures, but they still kept on making the movies. Because of this, the film was invented.

Black and white film was first projected on wooden theaters. And because of that, these theaters became popular across Europe. When things went well, people would come to these theaters to watch their favorite movies. They’d pay to have a good seat close to the action. This has now turned into the modern movie theater business. With the development of digital technology, movie theaters can now project on huge screens inside huge halls.

In a typical movie, there are a storyline, some conflict, and the main lead (maybe). There could also be a villain, and his henchman (if there are any). Action is the heart of any movie. So basically, movies contain conflicts that make the audience think, laugh, and think hard about what the ending should be. But before the movie even begins, the main lead (the one who is in the movie) is introduced to the audience.

The plot of a movie is just a backdrop for the story that it contains. There is more to it. The storyline could involve a war between two countries. It could also be about a family, about a boy who wants to become a doctor, about a girl who was burned at her home, etc. Movie plots are usually very complicated, with many twists and turns.

Most of the movies that are shown in movie theaters are highly anticipated events. They are carefully planned by movie producers and screenwriters. Movie theaters have also become places where many films are released. Therefore, the competition in ticket sales for movie theatres are very high.
